As campervan owners and cycling enthusiasts, we wanted a simple way to carry our bikes without spending hundreds of dollars on a bulky rack system. We also didn't want a carrier that blocked access to our rear doors, increased the overall length of our van, or required permanent modifications.
What began as a personal solution for our own campervan quickly attracted attention from other van owners looking for the same thing: a lightweight, affordable bicycle carrying system that preserves full access to the rear of the vehicle while eliminating the need for large hitch-mounted racks.
Today, every Bike-Hook is still built one order at a time.

Unlike mass-produced bicycle racks, Bike-Hook is not a generic one-size-fits-all product.
Each Bike-Hook is manufactured according to the vehicle and bicycle specifications selected by the customer at the time of purchase.
Customers select the specific vehicle application for their order, including models such as:

Because each vehicle platform has unique rear-door dimensions, clearances, and mounting requirements, Bike-Hooks are fabricated specifically for the intended application rather than produced as universal stock items.
Built for Your Bicycle Fork Specifications
In addition to vehicle selection, each Bike-Hook is configured for the customer's bicycle fork and axle requirements.
Depending on the bicycle being carried, different mounting interfaces may be required, including:
- Quick Release (QR)
- 12x100 Thru Axle
- 15x100 Thru Axle
- 15x110 Boost Thru Axle
These specifications are incorporated during the manufacturing and assembly process to ensure compatibility with the customer's bicycle.
Production Begins After Your Order Is Received
Bike-Hook does not maintain an inventory of finished products waiting on warehouse shelves.
Each order enters production only after the customer has selected their vehicle and bicycle specifications.
Every Bike-Hook is individually:
- Fabricated after purchase
- Bent and formed for the selected application
- Configured for the customer's vehicle and bicycle requirements
- Assembled and prepared specifically for the customer who placed the order
Because production begins only after customer specifications are received, each Bike-Hook is manufactured specifically for its intended application and order.
Handcrafted Manufacturing
From material preparation and forming to final assembly and finishing, every Bike-Hook is produced individually.
We do not use drop-shipping suppliers, mass-produced imported inventory, or warehouse-stocked generic rack systems.
Each Bike-Hook is fabricated in-house and built specifically for the order received.
