❓Are eBikes safe on Bike-Hooks? Yes—when mounted properly, eBikes are just as secure as any other bike. Our fork mount system uses a customizable “hub block” to match your bike’s front axle or dropout system. Most eBikes use standard quick-release or thru-axle hubs. If you’re not sure, just remove the front wheel, measure the fork spacing in millimeters, and compare that to the specs on the Bike-Hook product page.

Hitch Racks: Bikes often sway, rattle, or even make contact with each other. Theft is easier with open frames exposed.  There have been many stories of welds breaking from heavy loads bouncing down the road.  A large bicycle hitch system failure can create a driving accident.  These should be checked frequently for cracks and bends.  Bike-Hook: Holds bikes upright and close to the van. Once the rear doors are shut, the mounts are locked in place—can’t be removed until reopened.  A stainless steel safety cable is added for extra protection.
